Our hearts are with our brothers and sisters in Jamaica as we witness the impact of Hurricane Melissa. Though we’re far from home, our spirits remain deeply connected.

For Jamaicans here in Iowa, please know you’re not alone. Our group is here to listen, support, and connect as we stand in solidarity with those rebuilding back home. Please send us a message if you need anything. As we determine what is needed on the ground in the days ahead, we will provide more updates on this page.

For those looking to support relief efforts, please donate directly through supportjamaica.gov.jm.

You can also visit the Jamaica Information Service (JIS) for updates and resources.

Thank you,
